Mosquitoes Kill More OC Residents Than Sharks

It's really interesting to know that mosquitoes are more of a danger to you than sharks. This makes our beaches safer than the most common vector, that is carrier of West Nile Virus.

Keep your pools clean and if you happen to see green standing water in flower pots or swimming pools call Vector control because they will come out and make sure the public is safe from the common Mosquito.

Who would think that 80% of these pesky critters are infected with the West Nile Virus.  So it's important to wear insect repellent protection at dusk or when you are out in the woods.

Vector control charges taxpayers less than $2.00 a year for the service and we all benefit from their services.

They will also come out and leave traps for palm tree rats.

You ask why I am adding this to a housing blog but as a community service it's important as we all are part of a larger community and have a responsibility to all.

  1. So make sure there is no standing water on your property.

  2. If you are looking at a home for sale that is unoccupied and the pool is green, call vector control and they will help.  714-971-2421

  3. Wear your protestant for mosquitoes if you are out at dusk.
